What's in Jenna's Bag

We are so spoiled to have a friend who's an international flight attendant! She has brought all the goodies to us! At first all we thought we needed was more of Warren's iron supplement but then our list started of things we missed started to grow! Curious what she brought us? Find out below!

The Thanksgiving Bag

Jenna's first visit was a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. We would not have had our favorite dishes without her! At first it started with Warren's iron supplement, then it grew to missing Chili so we added our favorite 2 Alarm Chili mix and a bag of Fritos (always a must with Chili in our house) and then we added all the Thanksgiving must haves of Jimmy Dean's sausage, rubbed sage, turkey gravy packets and Daisy's sour cream (crème fraiche is just not the same...good but not the same). We thought we were done until Charlotte refused to wear the new shoes, I bought her and would only wear her rainbow tennis shoes from Amazon that had holes so we amazoned a new pair to add to our list. Jenna surprised us with Pillsbury biscuits and we had the best American breakfast!

The Buy-in-Bulk Bag

One thing we have missed alot is Chili. It's a winter staple in our house. I'm also super picky about tea and haven't found one I like yet. So, Amazon & Jenna to the rescue, we bought in bulk False Alarm Mild Chili (2 Alarm was too spicy for the kids) and my favorite honey vanilla chamomile tea along with matching Christmas jammies for the kids and of course more Fritos.

The Get-Well Bag

After Brian was super sick, we noticed there were a couple of over-the-counter meds we really missed. Pepto being the most important one and HEB's version of Pedialyte. While HEB's electrolyte solution was a far stretch, we added baking soda to the list and a pair of earrings from a designer in San Antonio I had been eyeing for a while (They went on sale for 30% off...it was an Instagram impulse buy). Jenna brought us all the cookies from the airplane and so far, the blonde brownie is a favorite in the house!

The Christmas Bag

Elfie and Santa brought the kids a Tonie's box (electronic music/story telling box and our figures speak French) so we found some English tonies on Amazon. We were also missing a pair of Christmas jammies. Jenna refilled us with blonde brownies, ginger cookies, and Mrs. Fields chocolate chip cookies. Those must be in first class because we have only ever gotten the ginger cookies.

The Refill Bag

We ran out of Chili and Fritos so we ordered in bulk again. We also added a bedtime story tonies and Folex carpet cleaner. It's the best carpet cleaner and we can't find a comparable one here. It's also only $6 on Amazon compared to $40 on Amazon France. Jenna surprised us with a bag of Lysol wipes and I didn't realized how much I missed those until she brought them!

The Valentine's Bag

Matching holiday jammies are hard to find here in Paris. Also, French families don't really celebrate Valentine's with their children. We found cute heart jammies for the girls and blue stripes for Warren. Jenna brought the kids cute valentines goodie bags and heart cups from Target!

The Candle Bag

We were missing our favorite candle, Capri Blue Volcano. We have this candle in our kitchen and so glad we were able to add it to our Paris kitchen! Fritos were on the list again...we make chili alot! We've also been missing Mexican food so we added green chilis to the list.

The Gift Bag

Brian bought a gift for me and sent it to Jenna. I had no reference as to why he bought a gift so the anticipation was killing me. Jenna had to text Brian because she got something in the mail and didn't know if it was the gift he bought or if she had bought it for herself. Winter is very cold and our heaters aren't the best. I keep complaining I'm cold in the apartment wear either wear my winter coat or borrow Brian's fleece. Brian bought me a vintage 1992 Alabama football championship sweatshirt so I could "stop looking ridiculous" wearing my winter coat in the apartment. It was a good laugh and the only time he will buy something with Alabama on it.
